USE
Horizontal, ground-based, single-chamber, water storage reservoirs are used for drinking water storage, which allows to equalize periodical water deficits, caused most often by too small yield of well at the water intake in relation to the requirements. Horizontal, groun-based, water storage reservoirs are at the same time a kind of additional protection of water source used for fire-fighting purposes.
STORAGE RESERVOIR CONSTRUCTION
Ground-based, horizontal, single-chamber, water storage reservoirs are made of low-carbon, certified steel. The reservoir's jacket is made in the shape of horizontal roll, which is closed from both sides with flat, ribbed heads or heads of small convexity (depends on reservoir's diameter). There is a revisory manhole DN 500 in the jacket. It's closed with external leakproof lid. In the upper part of the reservoir there are 2 breathing connections with air-filtration system. The amount and size of other connectors is shown in the drawing. Manufacturer allows changing the amount, size and placing of the connectors on the basis of Buyer's individual guidelines.
Internal reservoir's surfaces are protected against the corrosion with "BRANTHO-KORRUX" paint with PZH certification for contact with drinking water. Externally the reservoir is protected with an appropriate bituminous lacquer layer. The reservoir is thermally insulated with mineral wool layer protected with a jacket made of trapezoidal galvanized steel. The reservoir is supported on two steel bearings. Bearing space and their dimensions are given by the Manufacturer individually for each reservoir.
TRANSPORT, FOUNDATION & ASSEMBLY OF WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR
Reservoirs are delivered at the destination place as complete ones with a platform and bearings. Their assembly means only putting them on prepared foundation, installing the platform and the ladder and connecting the sockets to the system.
Reservoir foundation should be done acc. to a separate building design, which takes into account the place and conditions of its installing.

CONSTRUCTIONS OUT OF THE SERIES OF TYPES
Water storage reservoirs of volumes not defined in the series of types are produced on the basis of Buyer's individual guidelines. In case of preparing an order we need the following information:
- reservoir nominal capacity,
- reservoir diameter or length,
- connecting sockets' size, amount and location,
- revisory manholes' size and amount.

- For all our pressure and non-pressure vessels we have a positive certificate of PZH in Warsaw for contact with drinking water.
